belArto offers a specialist bespoke picture framing service combined with a love for art and craftsmanship. Our framing workshop and Art studio has been established by Alberto Cacace, following the decision to share a lifelong passion with other art lovers.

Located in Dummer Down Farm, on the outskirts of Dummer village near Basingstoke, the belArto Studio is surrounded by the beautiful Hampshire countryside. You can visit the studio to discuss your framing needs in a relaxed atmosphere, with the opportunity to also enjoy food and drink at the local ‘Honesty Cafe’ farm shop which is located on site opposite belArto Studio.
After an extensive refurbishment of what used to be the ‘Old Dairy’ and subsequently the ‘Horse Laundry’, the belArto – Framing workshop and Art Studio is open to the public and looks forward to welcoming you.

We can ensure that any items, prints or paintings that you wish to treasure and preserve are taken care of and framed using the highest level of craftsmanship combined with a great choice and variety of specialist materials.
Products Range
At belArto you can choose from a varied collection of specifically selected wood mouldings including a beautiful Italian hand finished range with a choice of different profiles, colours and finishes, varying from classic to contemporary styles.
When you visit our studio, you will also be able to choose from a wide range of colour mount boards on offer and you will be guided and advised about the high quality materials, including PH Neutral and Acid-free paper and Conservation Mount Boards standards across different price ranges to suit every budget.
At belArto, you will also be able to learn about the full range of specialist glass available from standard float glass to UV Anti-Reflection Invisible Glass and Acrylic-Clear, 99% UV Protection or Diffused options, including museum quality, to suit your specific needs and requirements.

belArto is a member of the Fine Art Trade Guild, the trade association for the art and framing industry and since 1910 the FATG has been setting standards that are recognised by the art and framing industry worldwide.

As members of the FATG at belArto we promise to act fairly and reasonably in accordance with the 'FATG Code of Ethics' reassuring all customers that the highest standard of integrity is maintained in all transactions and our aim is to provide an excellent and professional service protecting the interests of our customers. As members of the FATG we intend to maintain and enhance the reputation, standing and good name of the Guild and its membership, contributing to the advancements of the profession through CPD and support of Guild standards.

In line with theFATG, at belArto, we aim offers four level of framing: Level 1 (Ultimate Level) - Ultimate protection for your artwork, using conservation methods and the best quality conservation materials. Level 2 (High Level) - High level protection for your artwork using conservation methods and conservation materials. Level 3 (Mid Level) - Mid level protection using good quality materials and methods. Level 4 (Low level) - Low level protection using basic materials and/or methods.

In addition whilst recognising the current worldwide concerns over wood sources, we partner with manufacturers that hold PEFC TIM (Programme for Endorsement of Forest Certification Schemes) and FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) Chain of Custody certifications from BM TRADA Certification Ltd. Reassuring customers that the wood and paper they are purchasing is produced in a sustainable way.
